After studying Photography at Nottingham Trent, Phil gained experience shooting a wide variety of subjects for national news agencies before joining Digital Photo magazine in 2005.
He moved to IPC in 2010, taking on the role of Deputy Editor of What Digital Camera before becoming Amateur Photographer's Features and Technique Editor in 2014. Phil's also responsible for editing Photo Technique.
Phil's images have been used in a range of media, including national newspapers, a broad variety of magazines, books and corporate clients including Vodafone and Marks and Spencer. See his pictures at www.philhallphotos.com
