Improve your Photoshop skills

Playing around with the Clone and Healing brushes will help you to shape up your post-production skills. Over-brushing will bring on an image softness that you have to be careful to avoid by sampling multiple areas at the right pressure.

Source the best locations

Keep your wits about you; there are plenty of top locations to shoot. After you’ve practised with one or two spots you’ll quickly become accustomed to seeking out the locations while on the move that will work best in the final image. Note them down in your head as there’s always plenty of time to return at a later date.

Try with a tripod

If you start to feel more adventurous with your image making, then you could use a standard tripod. Not only will it increase your accuracy when shooting, should you want to make low light exposures at night then you can generate some dazzling new looks only possible with camera support too.
