Learn how to get started in portrait lighting with a weekend course in studio lighting.
Run in association with Ellinchrom Studio Flash and the Flash Centre and tutored by Chris Burfoot, an associate member of The Master Photographers Association, the Studio Lighting Course for Beginners is a two-day event.
On the first day delegates will learn about starting in studio lighting, including how flash heads work and creating basic set-ups. Topics on the second day include: shooting kids, lighting a white background, using softboxes and reflectors and photographing weddings in wet weather.

Attendees will need to bring a camera with a hotshoe or PC sync connection point, and a lens with a focal length between 80mm and 135mm (35mm equ) suitable for portrait photography. Equipment, tuition, models, lunch and refreshments are supplied.
The course takes place in a 16th century barn in Lacock near Chippenham. Parking is available as are free pick-ups from Chippenham station. For more information call Pam Burfoot on 01249 444750 or email tfccourses@clara.co.uk
