Review of the Manfrotto MN 486 RC2 tripod ball head
A sturdy head with a more industrial feel than the more refined Giottos.
A single lever unlocks the head, and there’s a quick-release plate (on this RC2 version) but no spirit level.
Despite a lighter stated load capacity than the Giottos MH 1302 Series II, it locked a lot more solidly, suggesting that Manfrotto is being very conservative in its claims.
