Review: This second installment of Michael Buselle skips the basics of composition to focus on adding drama and impact to nature and architecture images. Mixing both editing and shooting techniques the book covers subjects as diverse as density, contrast and converting images to black & white. The book’s focus jumps around unpredictably throughout the many chapters, often touching upon infuriatingly basic and seemingly irrelevant elements of digital capture. But despite its lack of coherence it gains marks for promoting more artistic styles of imaging.
