Colour

Colour rendition from Nikon D7200 is very good, delivering bright and punchy colours across a variety of scenes that a natural and true to scene.

The white balance is occasionally thrown by artificial light but when it does get it correct the colours are rich and have a strong tonal range.

Resolution

Resolving a maximum of 3400l/ph, the 24.2MP sensor performs well at ISO 100 delivery plenty of detail.

At ISO 1600, we see a resolution of 3000l/ph while it ISO 6400 theres a total of 2800 l/ph. This shows the camera does very well at resolving detail at higher sensitivities.

Image Noise

At ISO 100-800 are very clean and thereafter luminance noise starts to become noticeable.

Google Preferred Source Badge

Shooting to around ISO 6400 is fine but pushing further than that will see detail start to break up in JPEGs due to heavy in-camera processing. Shooting at ISO 800 is a good go-to setting.
