Nikon 1 J4 Review - handheld

Despite the impressive headline features found on the J4, it’s certainly got its issues.

To begin with, the issues with the camera’s operation are a pain, while the kit lens is less than impressive and the model really struggles at the higher ISO settings.

That being said, in terms of the shooting speed and AF performance, it’s difficult to find a camera which comes close, while the improvements with regards to design are also welcome.

For that reason, if you’re looking for a speedy and compact body then you could do far worse than the Nikon 1 J4.
