Software firm Roxio has launched the latest version of its Toast software for the Mac, in the impressively christened Toast 8 Titanium, which it is calling a ?significant? upgrade.

New features are said to enhance drag, drop and burn performance with Mac OS and iLife applications, with functions such as Blu-ray disk burning and TiVo compatibility going beyond those currently offered by the platform.

Aimed at photographers, a new Toast Photo Disc feature creates an automatic slideshow of potentially thousands of images. Discs can be played on a Mac or PC, and also used in photo kiosks.
