Epson has launched a large format printer in the shape of the Stylus Photo 1400, a successor to the 1290s. Alongside the standard features, it boasts direct printing to CD or DVD, while PictBridge and USB 2.0 connectivity is offered alongside Claria Photographic inks, which are said to afford up to 200 yearsu2019 longevity if stored in an album.

Equipped with Epson?s advanced Micro Piezo? print head technology, the Stylus Photo 1400 claims to deliver sharp borderless prints from 10x15cm up to A3+. It also incorporates Epson?s improved Advanced Variable-Sized Droplet Technology (Advanced VSDT), gaining more flexible ink droplet sizes and more accurate placement of the droplets.
