Photo, video and music capabilities have been enhanced in Roxio?s Easy Media Creator 8.
It incorporates 25 applications that can be accessed from Media Creator Home. The new Task Assistants enables users to quickly create cards and calendars.
Incorporating zooming, music, title slides and narration, slideshows can be exported in widescreen 16:9 and standard format, to VCD and DVD. Share photographs from your computers with family and friends using LiveShare, which functions as an email web link. Information – including photographs and videos – can be shared between several computers on the same network with My Media Space.
DVD authoring program MyDVD from Sonic Solutions can be used for burning DVDs with multi-chapter menus. Information can be burnt, using multiple drives and across multiple discs. DVD Music Disc can burn up to 50 hours (65 albums) of Dolby quality music onto a disc along with DVD menus that can be navigated using a remote control. MusicID rectifies and adds ID3 tag information – including title, genre and artist – to music files.
Other features include DivX 6 support, video-editing with VideoWave.
