Low contrast AF improved
Panasonic has issued firmware updates for the DMC-G1 and DMC-GH1 cameras. The firmware updates, v1.4 and v1.2 for the GH1 and G1 respectively, both concern improvements to auto focus performance in low contrast conditions, as well as improving performance with the new Leica 45mm Macro lens. v1.2 for the GH1 also decreases the volume of the AF system on the 20mm pancake lens for quieter video recording.
