The SP-700 is the latest addition to Olympus?s compact range, with a 6MP CCD and the largest LCD screen of any Olympus digital camera.
Featuring a 3x optical f/3.3-4.0 lens with a focal length equivalent to 38-114mm in a 35mm camera, encased in a metal body, the 3-inch LCD is composed of 230,000 pixels.
Twenty-four scene modes are on the SP-700 including: Portrait, Snow, Night scene and Beach. You can also use the camera underwater with the PT-013 underwater case, which is available separately. Alongside standard macro mode, super macro mode can focus from as close as 1cm from the subject. Evaluate adjustments to your photographs with the Compare and Shoot function, which enables you to compare photographs and make adjustments such as sharpness, brightness and red eye reduction.
Other features include a calendar function, Label Shot, 11MB internal memory, panorama, 2-in1 function and VGA movie recording at 30fps.
