New addition to 'A-team' and Zfd series.

Fujifilm has released two more compacts aimed at scooping a larger share of the ever-increasing consumer-compact market.

First up is the Fujifilm FinePix Z200fd. Picking up from where the Z100fd left off, the ultra-slim 10MP Z200fd features the unique sliding lens cover of its predecessor.

Other core facets of its specific are a 5x Fujinon optical zoom (33-165mm equivalent), 2.7in LCD screen and a maximum ISO1600.

The bulk of the Z200fd?s selling points consist of new usability improvements. Two brand new self-timer modes debut ? couple timer and group timer allow you to set the camera to shoot depending on the amount of faces and proximity of said faces in the frame ? and ?real photo technology? aims at allowing photographers to capture the scene ?exactly as the eye saw it?.

The other member of the pair is an addition to Fujifilm?s ?A-Team? in the shape of the A850. The new model joins the A920 and A900 with high-end technology and point-and-shoot simplicity at an affordable price point. The camera features an 8MP sensor, 3x optical zoom and runs on AA batteries.

The A850 will be available from July, and the Z200fd will be on the shelves, in four different colours, from August, with prices to be confirmed.
