Calling all animal lovers! The British Deer Society has opened its 2007 quarterly photographic competition.

The BDS is a registered charity concerned with deer welfare and has for the last three years held quarterly photographic competitions for its members. From 2007, the competitions will be open to the general public as well as members, with a top prize of a Canon 400D SLR with 18-55mm lens worth £700.

There are three contest categories to enter, Deer, Deer Country and Stalking Connections. Further details and guidelines for the competition can be found at www.bds.org.uk
