Canon has announced the addition of seven printers to its PIXMA line-up: two A3 professional printers, four for the small business user and a wireless multifunctional.
Available in the autumn, both the 10-colour Lucia ink PIXMA Pro9500 (£649) and the 8-colour dye ink Pro9000 (£499) are A3 printers capable of producing photographs and commercial grade output.
Designed for use with Canon EOS DSLRs, they support lossless printing directly from RAW files and are compatible with PC and Macintosh computers.
The PIXMA iX5000 (£329) and iX4000 (£249) are A3 printers, suitable for documents and photo prints, which will be available in April.
Combining a printer, scanner, copier and fax are the PIXMA MP830 (£329) and MP530 (£249), which hit the shops in May. All include ChromaLife 100 technology for long-lasting prints.
The PIXMA MP800R (£329) is a printer with wireless capability, enabling users to obtain prints remotely. Comprised of a printer, copier and scanner, Bluetooth compatibility is optional and users can print directly from a memory card. It will be available in March.
