LiDE range, the manufacturer is banking on a bumper autumn season.
The 4800dpi CanoScan 8600F and CanoScan 4400F both offer 48-bit colour, Film Adapter Units, FARE Level 3 dust and scratch removal (CanoScan 8600F only) and QARE Level 3 automatic photo enhancement.
The LiDE 600F and 70 replace the 500F and 60 models and both offer increased resolution ? the CanoScan LiDE 600F is the first CIS scanner capable of scanning at 4800dpi. Each scanner boasts a compact style and features a stand for vertical scanning, while all power is drawn through a USB 2.0 connection to cut down the demand for power points around a computer.
The CanoScan 4400F (£79) and LiDE 70 (£59) will hit stores this Septemner with the LiDE 600F (£129) and CanoScan 8600F (£149) following in October.
