Adobe has announced three software bundles incorporating imaging and video products from its stable, with interactive web software from the newly acquired Macromedia.
The move follows Adobe?s acquisition of Macromedia, which was completed earlier this week and combines Adobe?s design programs such as Creative Suite 2 with Flash Professional 8 and Studio 8 software.
The Adobe Design Bundle will cost around £1381 and includes Adobe Creative Suite 2 Premium – incorporating Photoshop CS2, InDesign CS2, Illustrator CS2, GoLive and Cue CS2 – along with Flash Professional 8.
Studio 8 software including Macromedia Dreamweaver 8, Flash Professional 8, Fireworks 8, productivity tools Contribute 3 and FlashPaper2, features in the Adobe Web Bundle along with Adobe Creative Suite 2 Premium, priced £1656.
Due for release in 2006, the Adobe Video Bundle includes Adobe video solutions and Flash Professional 8.
Shantanu Narayen from Adobe comments: ?Adobe?s new design, web and video bundles harness the power and global reach of Flash and PDF technology to deliver engaging content and digital experiences, to the widest possible worldwide audience.?
