Review: This is the first in a new series of Nikon-branded books by Chris Weston, on a range of subjects which will also include portraits and nudes. As a wildlife photographer, I’m not sure what expertise Weston will bring to those subjects but here at least he is on familiar territory. There are some lovely images in this book but since most of the text comprises of short captions and exif data for his shots, it’s hard see how the book fulfils its subtitle: ‘Revealing the secrets of professional wildlife photography’. Buy it as a portfolio of good wildlife photos, rather than an in-depth technique guide, and you won’t be disappointed.
