Overall the Casio EX-H10 is a solid performer – mainly due to its 24-240mm (10x optical zoom) lens and long lasting battery life. Beyond this it’s not particularly ground-breaking though and, considering the price point, isn’t necessarily going to have other competitors’ advanced products running scared. Image quality is a bit of a let down too but, saying that, will provide ample quality in good light at lower ISO. There aren’t a huge variety of compacts with a versatile 24-240mm lens – and that, essentially, is the reason to buy the H10. It’s almost there, but just needs one or two tweaks and some advances before it could be deemed as truly great.
