Wex Photographic has put together a fantastic opportunity. On September 9, photographers will have the opportunity to take shots of flying aeroplanes with the latest Canon DSLRs and telephoto lenses.
The day-long session will include two two-hour airshows with aerobatic display teams, during which photographers will be able to try their hands at getting shots of the moving planes, guided by the expert tuition of professional photographer Andy Rouse.
Canon will be bringing a selection of DSLR cameras, including the 5D Mark III and the 1D X, both fantastic cameras that produce superior images. What we’d be most excited about however is the selection of L-series lenses.
You’ll need telephoto quality to capture the planes in motion, and accordingly you’ll have access to the Canon 200-400mm f/4L IS USM Extender 1.4x lens, the EF 70-200mm f2.8 L IS II USM, the EF 500mm L IS II USM and several others.

The day will also include product demonstrations from Manfrotto, Gitzo and Lexar, as well as seminars with Andy explaining the secrets behind some of his most recent shots. Attendees will be given access to exclusive offers on products worth up to £500.
The event will begin at 10am on September 9 at the Stow Maries Airfield in Essex. Further details will be provided on booking. Visit Wex Photographic to reserve your place.
