Sony has announced the latest device to be touted an ‘i-pod killer’, in the shape of the new X Series Walkman.

The device features a pioneering 3in OLED screen, offering 100% colour reproduction and a 10000:1 contrast ratio, resulting in a viewing angle of up to 180 degrees.

The X Series also features Sony Content Transfer software making the uploading of content, including Photos, simple.

What’s more, the device allow you to attribute a soundtrack to photo playback, meaning a simple slideshow can be created easily.
