Sony has announced a new addition to its T range, with an impressive 4GB on-board storage capacity.

Featuring an 8MP sensor, the T2 also boasts a 2.7in touch-screen LCD. The storage space is claimed to be enough for 40,000 VGA-quality or 1,000 8-megapixel photos and is complimented by Picture Motion Browser software for the cataloguing of photographs. Not only that, but separate software allows direct uploading of images and videos onto websites such as Flickr and YouTube.

Other technologies include optical image stabilisation, face detection and the ?Smile Shutter? mode seen previously on the T70 and T200 models.

Available in five colours, the camera will make its debut in December. As yet, only a US RRP has been released at $350. For more information visit www.sonystyle.com.
