Ricoh has posted firmware updates for the Ricoh CX1 and Ricoh GRDII digital compact cameras.

For the CX1, firmware v1.19 rectifies an issue to now ensure the lens retracts upon battery depletion. Click here to go to the Ricoh website for download.

For the GR Digital II, firmware v2.3 includes manual flash control, ability to save white balance compensation values as a ‘my setting’ option, and introduces a new feature – ‘Today’s Shots’ – which displays number of images shot in any given day, even when the camera is turned off.
