HP has introduced three new compact photo printers to its printer-line-up, including a three-in-one photo solution.
Weighing less than 1.4kg and with a 1.5-inch LCD screen, the HP 335 is compatible with a range of memory cards including CompactFlash, Memory Stick, SecureDigital and xD Picture cards. When used with HP paper it can produce 4 x 6 cm and 4 x 12-inch panoramic images, with print speeds from 30 seconds.
Prints can be obtained directly from a PictBridge compatible camera or from a Bluetooth enabled phone (with an optional adaptor.) Incorporated into the device are HP Real Life technologies for improving picture quality without the need for a PC.
Available in August the HP Photosmart 335 will retail at £149.99.
As well as supporting PictBridge printing the HP Photosmart 385 is compatible with all major flash media cards and is supplied with a Bluetooth adaptor. Pictures can be viewed on the flip-out 2.5-inch LCD screen, which enables the user to crop, rotate and tweak their photos.
With a selling point of £199.99 the Photosmart 385 boasts print speeds of fewer than 60 seconds for 4 x 6-inch images and can also produce panoramic images.
Described as an ?integrated 3-in-1? photo system, the HP Photosmart 422 Portable Photo Studio comprises of the M415 camera, a 5MP camera with a 3x optical zoom, a docking station and printer capable of producing 4 x 6-inch prints. It will cost around £249.99.
According to tests from the Wilhelm Institute, when used in conjunction with the HP 343 Tri-Colour Inkjet Print Cartridge all three printers are capable of prints that resist fading for up to 82 years. Each device can be powered using a rechargeable battery, which is available separately and has the capability to produce 74 prints from one charge.
