xD card users have a new choice when it comes to choosing high-capacity storage. PNY Technologies has enlarged its xD-Picture Card range by launching the 2GB capacity Olympus-branded card, capable of capturing 1000 shots using an 8MP camera.

PNY and Olympus are meanwhile planning even bigger cards, eventually up to 8GB. All Olympus xD-Picture Cards also offer an Olympus panorama option found within Olympus digital cameras.
