LUMIX G1, GH1 and 14-140mm updated

Panasonic has released a trio of firmware updates for its Micro Four Thirds camera system.

The new LUMIX GH1 sees firmware version 1.1, an update which, Panasonic claims, allows for faster burst shooting and both improves control of shutter speed and the stability of AF in movie recording, while also ‘enhancing performance and compatibility of the camera in other points’.

The LUMIX G1 sees version 1.3 introduced, which the manufacturer claims enhances compatibility with Micro Four Thirds lenses, meanwhile firmware version 1.1 is also released for the LUMIX G VARIO 14-140mm lens, improving O.I.S. in move recording mode and offering greater compatibility with the Micro Four Thirds system.
