New OM-D EM-1 from Olympus promises DSLR performance in a Micro Four Thirds body
Olympus has announced the newest camera in its OM-D series – the OM-D EM-1.
Compatible with Micro Four Thirds and Four Thirds lenses, among its many new features OM-D EM-1 boasts a new electronic viewfinder with a staggering 2.36 million dot resolution.
The EVF offers a number of interesting new modes and options, including HDR preview and Live Bulb for bulb-mode exposures
A Dual Fast AF system allows for high-speed performance with both Four Thirds and Micro Four Thirds lenses. Olympus says the AF performance will far outstrip that of the E-M5.
The camera also features 5-axis IS, full Wi-Fi connectivity and a 3in rear tiltable rear touchscreen with a resolution of 1.04 million dots.
