Alongside the E-520 DSLR, Olympus has also confirmed availability of of new wideangle lens, the Zuiko Digital ED 9-18mm f/4.0-5.6.
The lens is constructed from 13 elements over nine groups, and includes one aspherical ED element and two further aspherical elements.
As well as boasting a minimum focusing distance of 25cm, the lens weighs just 280g. Based on the Four Thirds standard, it is compatible with the new Olympus E-520 as well as older models and Panasonic and Leica Four Thirds systems.
