Replacement for Nikon SB-900 launched
Nikon has today announced the new SB-910 – an i-TTL Speedlight which replaces the SB-900 as the flagship of its Speedlight flashgun range.
The Nikon SB-910 features a redesigned menu and control system as well as an extended zoom range of 17-200mm.
The Nikon SB-910 features three illumination patterns – Centre-weighted, Even and Standard – which Nikon claims will accommodate any shooting environment. The SB-910 also offers bounce flash capability through a vertical range of 7 º to 90º and a 180 º horizontal range thanks to a moveable head, whilst the units thermal protection system has also been improved to allow more optimal heat detection and recycling time management.
The SB-910 also features an aforementioned redesigned menu system, as well as illuminated buttons and hard cover plastic colour filters which promise to be more durable and easier to attach.
