Budding wildlife photographers may be interested in Nature in Focus, three days of nature photography workshops, being held at various locations in November and December this year.
Now in its second year, Nature in Focus is the brainchild of Andy Rouse Wildlife Photography and WildArena. Guest speakers include top wildlife photographers Andy Rouse, Heather Angel, Mark Carwardine and Laurie Campbell.
The first conference is held at Martin Mere WWT on Saturday 26th November, a location known for its wintering geese and whooper swans. Participants will have the unique early-morning opportunity to photograph swans in close-up at the Whooper Swan feed as well as the chance to shoot with the professionals.
Marwell Zoo is the location for the second and third conferences on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th December. Those attending will have access to the zoo, with the possibility of ?over the barrier? photographic opportunities. The day also includes a Studio Session with the opportunity to photograph chameleons and insects in a working studio.
Both days also include: one-hour professional talks, a digital SLR question and answer session, a photography competition and book signing. Attendees will also have the opportunity to bring their portfolios to be reviewed by the professional photographers in attendance
Each day costs £99. For more information go to www.andyrouse.co.uk or to make a booking email info@wildarena.com. Places on the portfolio review are limited, so state in the email if you are interested.
