Jessops has announced the latest model in its line of own-brand tripods. The Jessops Carbon Fibre Major Tripod weighs in at just over 1.7kg, including the tripod head, and features a short centre column.

The Major features both carbon fibre legs and central column, while also featuring self-adjusting flip locks on the tripod legs, rubber feet, retractable spikes, leg warmers, spirit level and a stabiliser hook. Not only that, but the Major comes complete with a carry case, making transportation simple.
