HP has announced the SimpleSave external hard drive series for customers needing a simple and automatic backup. The SimpleSave boasts protection of personal content with the ease of plugging in a USB.

The new SimpleSave hard drive consists of two products. The SimpleSave Portable, available in 320GB and 500GB capacities, and the SimpleSave Desktop, available in 1 and 2 terabyte capacities.  The products feature pre-installed backup software, which automatically finds and backs up data on the PC.  In addition, other features include heat-dissipating cases and multiply file support all with a two-year warranty.
