GoPro takes pride in its light but rugged, take-anywhere cameras, and someone has certainly put one to the test.

on Reddit as ‘Oh nothing, just a GoPro strapped to an eagle’, the video

shows an amazing view from the bird of prey’s perspective as it

casually swoops over Chamonix in the Mer De Glace area (according to the video description).

It’s not clear which GoPro camera was used, though the HD HERO 3 is surely a strong candidate.
