FUJINON XF56mm F1.2 and XF50-140mm F2.8 debut ahead of Photokina trade show
Fujifilm has accompanied the launch of the all-new Fujifilm X100T with the announcement of a pair of new X Series lenses – the FUJINON XF56mm F1.2 and FUJINON 50-140mm F2.8.
Both lenses have been developed specifically for the X series and offer some impressive features.
First up is the FUJINON XF56mmF1.2 R APD, an optic that boasts an impressively fast maximum aperture. The lens is complete with an apodisation filter which smoothes out the bokeh’s outline and as such gives portraits a pleasing three-dimensional feel.
The new FUJINON XF56mmF1.2 R APD should be on sale later this year with a suggested retail price of £1099.99
Fujifilm also announced the FUJINON XF50-140mmF2.8 R LM OIS WR, a telephoto zoom lens that adds to the growing X series stable.
Key features of this lens’s specification include a weather-resistant build that’s shockproof, dustproof and freezeproof to -10c.
The lens also features the world’s first ‘Triple Linear Motor’ for both faster and quieter AF performance.
The FUJINON XF50-140mmF2.8 R LM OIS WR should also be available from November this year, with a suggested retail price of £1249.99.
