Fujifilm has announced an ?F? series compact with a 5x optical zoom and large LCD. The FinePix F650 Zoom includes a 6MP CCD, capable of producing pictures 2816×2112 pixels in size, and a 36-180mm (35mm equivalent) zoom lens.
Pictures can be viewed on the 3in LCD screen, which is composed of 230,000 pixels.
Portrait, Beach and snow, and Landscape are among the 10 scene modes that feature on the camera, each optimised for a different type of shooting condition. For more advanced control, the F650 Zoom includes aperture and shutter priority modes.
The F650 Zoom can capture 640×480 30fps movies with sound. Other features include 3cm Super Macro Mode, PictBridge compatibility and 32MB internal memory.
