Friends of the Earth International has launched its first ever photography competition.
Friends of the Earth International has launched its first ever photography competition. The contest is appealing for entries from around the globe illustrating the theme ?climate justice?. Winning images will feature in a 2007 Friends of The Earth wall calendar and a touring photo exhibit.
The organisation is looking for imaginative and striking photographs that illustrate the impact that climate change is having on both people and the environment. Entries that display the solutions and resistance to global warming are also encouraged to help publicly highlight the dangers of climate change.
The competition is open to both professional and amateur photographers from across the globe and is free of charge. The deadline for entries is 15 July 2006. For more information and competition rules visit www.foei.org/photo
