The DX4800 and DX3800 are the latest additions to Epson?s Stylus range of multifunctional printers.
Designed for use at home or in a small office, both offer scanning, copying and printing capabilities.
The Stylus printers include four individual DURABrite Ultra ink cartridges to produce smudge proof, high-quality prints and can print on a selection of types of paper. Retailing at £6.60 each they are designed to be economical, so you only need to replace the cartridge that has run out. Micro Piezo print head technology produces prints at a resolution of 5760 dpi.
The DX4800 has five memory card slots and is compatible with cards including SecureDigital, xD, CompactFlash and Memory Stick. It can scan and copy at a resolution of 1200dpi, while print speeds are 20ppm. The device is also compatible with the PictBridge standard and enables fast USB 2.0 image transfer.
Print rates for the DX3800 are 18ppm and it can copy and scan at a resolution of 600dpi.
