Eastleigh 100 is a one-off chance to shoot historic steam, diesel & electric locomotives in authentic surroundings!
Following our hugely successful Carnforth open days last year, Eastleigh celebrates 100 years of the former LSWR and Southern Railway Works.
The plant was seemingly closed for good in March 2006 when Alstom decided to cease operation there. But thanks to KRS, it has been reborn and is now once again full of locomotives and trains, doing the work it was designed for.
Don’t miss the four special photo events for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to shoot an historic display of steam, diesel and electric locomotives – without the crowds!
An evening shoot under floodlights takes place on May 24 from 20.45 to 23.00, and ‘early bird’ enytry tickets are available on all three days of the event from 08.00.
Numbers are strictly limited and only available in advance, so book early to avoid disappointment.
The Railway Magazine and Knights Rail Services have been working very closely to ensure that this will be an event to remember and will provide countless photo opportunities to shoot a range of locomotives and trains in authentic surroundings.
Tickets are selling fast. Make sure you are part of the biggest photo opportunity of this centenary year – book your ticket today!
