Casio has announced two new compacts in its Exilim range, the EX-S880 and the EX-Z77.

Both models feature Casio?s EXILIM Engine 2.0 image processing module, as well as a new YouTube BEST SHOT Mode, which ?enables users to shoot and save movies at the optimum size, quality and other settings? for the popular video-sharing site. Blur reduction also features on the pair, as does face detection technology, which together with an AF tracking mode maintains sharp focus and correct exposure for portrait shots.

The EX-Z77 is the latest compact to join Casio?s ?Zoom? range and features a 7.2 megapixel sensor and 3x optical zoom, along with a 2.6in widescreen LCD display. The EX-S880 compact meanwhile, boasts an 8.1 megapixel sensor and 2.8in widescreen LCD display. Both cameras will include additional software to facilitate the easy uploading of clips to YouTube, which together with their sleek design suggest suitability for the youthful market at which they are targeted.

Coming in a range of colours, both compacts will be released next month. For more information visit www.casio.co.uk
