Casio has announced two new additions to its EXILIM range of compact cameras, in the shape of the EX-Z450 and EX-Z90.

Both models boast a 12.1MP sensor, as well as featuring Casio’s new Intelligent AF system. The newly developed focusing system, powered by the manufacturer’s EXILIM Engine 4, automatically detects non-human subjects in the frame – complimenting face detection – and then determines focus and exposure for the perfect shot. So be it your pet or even a landscape shot, both models promise to minimise out-of-focus subjects.

Casio also comment that the EX-Z450 and EX-Z90 feature further advancements to their Dynamic Photo technology. The in-camera processing allows users to cut subjects out of images and combine them with others without the need for Photoshop, should they desire.
