Software company Carbonite has announced that it will provide all European purchases of Packard Bell laptops and PC?s with four months of its backup software.

The software automatically backs up data onto a main server, storing it safely in the event of theft or hard disk failure. WDC reviewed the product last year, awarding it 87% and a Recommended badge.

Once the trial has expired, Packard Bell customers can renew their subscription for additional year for £29.99.
