In a continuation of its 20th Anniversary celebrations, Canon has announced a summer cashback offer on purchases of its EOS 400D DSLR.

The offer ? which also applies to the special kits produced to mark the range?s 20th anniversary ? is valid on purchases made before 31st August. This is in addition to the cashback promotion currently running on the EOS 30D and EOS 5D DSLRs, as well as selected lenses and accessories.

The EOS system, launched in 1987, signalled the beginning of an era for photographers worldwide. Since its launch, over 30 million EF lenses have been sold, with 10 million of those produced in the past five years. Its range of DSLRs has also enjoyed an ever-increasing popularity, with the EOS 400D being the best-selling DSLR of last year.
