Trio of updates for popular DSLRs
Canon has release a trio of firmware updates for its EOS 50D, 450D and 1000D DSLRs.
The three updates all add support for the AF assist beam feature of Canon’s recently announced Speedlite 270 EX flashgun.
The update for the EOS 50D, version 1.0.6, also tackles other issues, including the error indications that are displayed on the camera, as well as known vertical banding noise problems.
