Adobe has announced that the public beta of its forthcoming Lightroom software is now available for Windows users.

Lightroom is a RAW imaging workflow application aimed at professional photographers, and has been downloadable as a beta for the Mac platform for several months.

Both Windows and Mac versions are available for free download from the Adobe Labs website.
