ACD Systems has introduced a new version of its photo-management software aimed at professional users.
ACDSee Pro Photo Manager can be used for organising, editing, archiving and managing digital photographs.
Save valuable workflow time by re-sizing, renaming and saving, as well as sharpening, noise reduction and cropping multiple files at the same time using the batch-processing feature.
You can also organise photographs into categories using a selection of tags, then search for them using the Quick Search bar. The program supports ICC and ICM colour profiles for accurate printing and viewing.
As well as providing DNG support, the program supports RAW file formats from Canon, Nikon, Olympus, Fujifilm, Konica Minolta and Pentax, enabling you to process RAW files and make adjustments to the white balance, sharpness, exposure and noise.
Rectify under and overexposed sections of your photograph using the Shadow/Highlight tools and fix them quickly using the Photo Repair tool. You can also correct common camera faults such as barrel, pin-cushion and fish-eye distortions.
Photos can be compiled into slideshows with music, burnt onto CD, archived or printed out, while a selection of HTML templates can be used for creating web pages.
