Review: Described as a book for photographers wanting to ‘take it to the next level’ this is a demanding read, a solid grasp of technology being rather a prerequisite. Those serious about digital photography will learn a lot from calibration, colour correction, file formats and workflow to advice on shooting light, portraiture, travel and macro photography. The Digital Art Studio is particularly interesting; though you find yourself wishing Butler had covered it with more depth.
