Celebrate the best of the English landscape with Royal Mail?s latest selection of stamps.
The set comprises 10 first class stamps and England is the last country to feature on the British Journey series, which began in 2003 with Scotland, before featuring Wales and Northern Ireland in 2004.
Designed by James Phelan and Lissa Barker, the aim of the stamps is to capture the spirit of the entire country ?by exploring the landscape in terms of colour and texture.?
From thousands of photographs taken for the project, the final 10 include some famous and slightly less familiar places, from St Paul?s Cathedral and Beachy Head, to Robin Hood?s Bay, Sheffield and Derwent Edge, Peak District.
Julietta Edgar from the Royal Mail comments: ?England is the final issue of the British Journey series, a photographic tour featuring some truly stunning landscapes from around the British Isles.?
The stamps are available now.
