Fans of Sony digital cameras will be interested in a new addition to its Cyber-shot range; the 5MP T7.
The T7 uses a folded path optical system similar to that found in the DSC-T33 enabling a 3x optical Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar lens to fit into a stainless steel camera body just 9.8mm thick.
The 2.5-inch LCD screen includes Sony?s Clear Photo LCD technology, designed to reduce reflections, while Hybrid technology helps ensure the screen is viewable even in high-contrast situations. Inside the camera is Sony?s Real Imaging Processor, promising a speedy 1.1-second start up and 0.24-second shutter lag, as well as realistic image colours, while the lithium-ion battery boasts 150 shots from a single charge.
10 scene selection modes are included on the camera, each optimised for a different shooting condition, including fireworks and twilight portrait.
The T7 features a 1cm macro mode, 30fps VGA movie capability and USB 2.0 for fast image transfer.
The Cyber-shot T7 will be available in May, at around £400. Find out more by logging onto www.sony.co.uk or by calling 08705 111999.
