Samsung has unveiled five new compact cameras in its digital portfolio, including a 14.7MP model in its stylish NV range.
Headlining the range is the NV100HD, which pushes the megapixel boundaries even further with its 14.7MP sensor. The camera also sports a 28mm wideangle lens, while the rear?s 3in LCD touchscreen boasts a 460,000pixel resolution.
The NV9, meanwhile, expands Samsung?s multimedia range by combining a Portable Media Player (PMP), MP3 support and a 30fps movie mode, while a 10.2MP sensor and 5x optical zoom look after the image capturing side of things.
Two further cameras feature in the company?s L range. The L201 sees a 10MP sensor paired with a 2.7in LCD screen, while the L301 increases the pixel count to 13.6MP, also sporting a 28mm wideangle zoom lens and Face Detection. The S1070 features much the same specification as the L201 but offers a different style and is priced slightly cheaper.
The NV100HD will be priced at £229, while the NV9 will see a launch price of £179. The L201 and L301 will be priced at £129 and £199 respectively, while the S1070 will retail at £99.
