New CX4 adds AF subject tracking
Ricoh has added a new CX model to the range, carrying extremely similar specs to the predecessor model, the CX3. The CX4 is a 10MP compact with a 10.7x optical zoom and sensor shift mechanical image stabilization.
The body shape and 3″ screen are also the same as the last model, but as the CX3 scored extremely well in the What Digital Camera review this is by no means a negative point. Both the subject tracking AF and image stabilization are new, with the latter giving an impressive 3.7 EV, which is the equivalent of 3.7 shutter stops, of range.
The price still has yet to be confirmed, check back on What Digital Camera soon for more details.
